RUST COSTS AMERICA
300 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR

Watching your equipment rust into scrap is the last thing you want to see after making tough purchasing decisions and working hard at regular maintenance procedures. But corrosion is often seen within weeks of a new paint job, drastically shortening the life of your equipment. Corrosion relentlessly attacks metallic junctions, causing leaks around seals and gaskets; diminishes the appearance of your equipment; can be seen as hazardous and often results in fines for safety violations. Perhaps most damaging -- it erodes your bottom line!
(National Association of Corrosion Engineers) International, the world's largest corrosion society, estimates the cost of corrosion at $300 billion per year in the United States alone. About one third of that cost is avoidable with the application of corrosion resistant materials and control techniques. However, repainting equipment or applying elaborate coatings every three to six years to control corrosion probably isn't the best use of your money, time, or manpower.
Now image ...no more corrosion for as long as fifteen years on dump trucks and 50 to 90 years on bridges. That's what you get from Midwest. Hot dipped galvanizing has proven its self for 200 years. Today with our very large kettle you/we can galvanize products, structures, like dump trucks, stake trucks, and very large bridges and bridge sections. The NEW RULE is if the fabricated steel structure can be chained to two semi's, permitted for the highway, we can galvanize it. Hot dipped galvanizing self-healing, and corrosion protection characteristics are ideal for use in environments where rust and corrosion are problematic. Galvanizing penetrates into the surface steel to form a molecular bond and barrier against moisture and other corrosive elements. Galvanizing is nontoxic, friendly to OSHA, and EPA environmental initiates will not chip, crack, or peel, and contain no harmful environmental solvents or VOCs.
The Galvanizing process is ideal for rust proofing hard-to-reach areas, like highly corrosive flange void and crevice areas. Galvanizing is especially effective in saltwater environments, DOT (department of transportation), contractor, landscaping, outdoor facilities, corrosive manufacturing plant environments and marine equipment.

We offer RUST FREE DUMP TRUCKS FOR RETAIL, AND BRIDGE FABRICATION AND GALVANIZING. Bridges can be fabricated in the ship, galvanized, transported both by RR or truck in modular sections. The modular sections outside dimensions can be as large as 10 feet wide, 12 feet depth, and 80 feet in length. Longer sections are possible by coordination with our engineers.
Bottomline ...if your operations are located in the harsh environments of northern USA, along the coastal salty oceans, or high humid areas of north America, Midwest products are available to take a bite out of rust.
